GAPP: The German American Partnership Program

• GAPP is the name of our student exchange with the Max Hachenburg Schule in Mannheim, Germany.
• GAPP has been an important part of the AHS German program since 1987.
• The program is open to all current AHS German students, but we advise that students complete at least German III prior to our trip to Germany.
• Our next visit to Germany will take place in July of 2008.
• As in the past, our three-week visit to Germany is expected to cost $1,500.00 plus personal expenses (spending money, host family gift, passport, etc.).
• The next German visit to Aiken will take place in October or November of 2008.

GAPP News

January GAPP Get-together (Optional)

There will be an optional get-together for GAPP students and/or parents on January 10, 2008. The purpose of this activity is simply to spend a little time together and talk about the program. We will meet at Shoney's on Whiskey Road in Aiken at 7:30p.m. and spend about an hour together. Those who wish to dine may do so.  Please see Mr. Lader if you have questions about this event.
