Moodle: Creating a Simple Text Page

One easy, quick way to add information to your course is to create static, unformatted text pages. Here's how:

Log in as usual.

log in
Locate your course and click on the course title link to enter.  enter course
Click the button in the upper, right-hand corner of the page to enable editing.  enable editing
Scroll down to the section where you want to add a text page. From the Resource menu, choose, Compose a text page.  choose text page
  1. Give your page a helpful, descriptive name (red arrow).
  2. Add a brief description (green arrow).
 add name and summary

Add the body (full text). Keep in mind that you will not be able to format this text.

Hyperlinks like http://www.google.com will be live, though. Just make sure they are followed by a blank space.

 add full text
Click the button at the bottom of the form (red arrow) to save your work.  save changes
And here is your new text page. Easy as pie. :-)  your new page
