Moodle: Creating a Choice

One fast, easy way to add a little interaction to your course is to create a little one-question poll. In Moodle, this is called a choice: 

1. Log in as usual.
2. Locate your course and click on the course title link to enter.
3. Click the button in the upper, right-hand corner of the page to enable editing, if necessary.
4. From the activity menu (red arrow), choose Choice (blue arrow).
5. Give your choice a name (red arrow) and add some instuctions (blue arrow). Try to help the user know what this is and what to do.
6. Add your choices. The student will pick one of these.
7. Decide how results will be published to students.
8. Save your work.
9. That's all there is to it. :-)
