Moodle: Creating a Choice

One fast, easy way to add a little interaction to your course is to create a little one-question poll. In Moodle, this is called a choice

1. Log in as usual.

2. Locate your course and click on the course title link to enter.  enter course
3. Click the button in the upper, right-hand corner of the page to enable editing, if necessary.  enable editing
4. From the activity menu (red arrow), choose Choice (blue arrow).  create a choice
5. Give your choice a name (red arrow) and add some instuctions (blue arrow). Try to help the user know what this is and what to do.  create a choice
6. Add your choices. The student will pick one of these.  create a choice
7. Decide how results will be published to students.  create a choice
8. Save your work.  create a choice
9. That's all there is to it. :-) create a choice
