Moodle: Sign Up for an Account

First, browse to our site at http://www.ahshornets.org. Click on the Academics link (blue arrow). Click on the Moodle link (red arrow).
Click on the Login link.
Click on the New Account link.
Carefully read the instuctions at the top of the page. We cannot confirm your account if you do not follow these instructions.
Create a userame (red arrow). Use only the letters a-z and the numbers 0-9. Do not leave spaces or use any other characters like a dash or an exclamation point. Create a password (green arrow). Again, use only the letters a-z and the numbers 0-9. Do not leave spaces or use any other characters.
Create a bogus e-mail address. You must use the domain @example.com. Enter it twice (red arrow, purple arrow). Examples of acceptable addresses would be xyz123@example.com, and iamhere@example.com. Explanation: Moodle requires that each account be associated with an e-mail address, but our school district policies forbid using real e-mail addresses. That's why we have to create phoney ones. Please excuse the inconvenience.
Create a screen name. Other students will see this. Your screen name must diguise your real identity. Enter your real first and last names. Only teachers will see this.
Complete the rest of the form as in the image to the right (red, green and blue arrows). Click on the Create my new account button (orange arrow).
Wait for your account to be confirmed.
