Moodle: Create a Lightbox Image Gallery

• First, you will create a new folder in your course files.
• Next, you will upload some pictures to the new folder.
• Finally, you will go to the front page of your course and create a new gallery.

1. Log into your course and click on the Files icon in your admin menu.

2. You will now make a folder for your images. Click on the Make a folder button.

3. Name the folder and click on the Create button.

4. Enter your new folder. Click on the link to do so.

 5. You will now begin uploading images to the new folder. Click on the Upload a file button. 

6. You must locate the image you want to upload. Click on the Browse button.

7. After you have located the image file, you must copy it to your site. Click on the Upload this file button.

8. Success. You may upload as many files as you wish. Just repeat this procedure to do so. 

9. Now that your images have been copied to your site, you ccan create the gallery. Browse to the front page of your site and enable editing.

10. From the resource menu, choose Add a lightbox gallery.

 11. Give your gallery a name and a description.

12. Tell Moodle where your pictures are and save your changes. 

 13. Ta da! Your gallery has been created.
